Risk Inspecs is seeking qualified individuals for permanent positions to provide high quality inspections and insurance-to-value appraisals.

Risk Inspecs is seeking inspectors and cost appraisers with the following qualifications:

  • A diploma in construction trades;
  • Architectural or Civil Engineering Technology degrees;
  • Or a minimum of five years experience in the building, construction, estimating or project management;
  • Experience in the insurance field.

The applicant must have:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Proficiency in working with computers;
  • Literacy in computer use;
  • The ability to learn electronic costing evaluation systems;
  • A valid drivers' license;
  • Reliable vehicle for transportation on company business.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Perform field inspections of all types of commercial and industrial buildings;
  • Prepare appraisals on custom forms for Risk Inspecs;
  • Perform site inspections and evaluations;
  • Confirm field measurements of specified buildings;
  • Travel to perform the above duties.
